Gustav Mahler – The Symphonies

CD Box
€62,99

Release date: 23 October 2026

Conductor Andris Nelsons recently won his sixth Grammy and is now working with the Vienna Philharmonic on the long-awaited Mahler cycle for Deutsche Grammophon.

Nelsons himself says of Mahler’s music: “It speaks to the universe, yet it can also forge a deeply intimate connection with each listener. This creates an almost mystical, trusting communion between you, the composer, and the music—a gesture that transcends time and place to touch the soul directly.”

The new 12-CD* box set exclusively contains thrilling live recordings made between 2018 and 2026.

This release brings together Nelsons’ deep understanding of this repertoire with the legendary sound of an orchestra that shares a long history with Mahler’s music—the result is a project that is likely to rank among the most significant Mahler recordings of our time.
