The concert heard here was recorded live in April 2022 at the Easter Festival in Aix-en-Provence. It was dedicated to the American pianist Nicholas Angelich, a friend and colleague who had died only a few days earlier. The program includes Schumann\u0026#039;s Sonata No. 1, Op. 105, Beethoven\u0026#039;s Sonata No. 9, Op. 47 (\u0026#34;Kreutzer\u0026#34;), and Franck\u0026#039;s Sonata for Violin and Piano in A Major. \u0026#34;It\u0026#039;s a real live recording,\u0026#34; Capuçon says, \u0026#34;you rarely get something like this in the studio.
