The journey continues: Deutsche Grammophon is releasing an exclusive box set of Rachmaninov's four piano concertos, recorded by Daniil Trifonov and the Philadelphia Orchestra under the baton of Yannick Nézét -Séguin, to mark the 150th Rachmaninov anniversary. Also included are the Paganini Rhapsody, as well as Trifonov's own Rachmaninov transcriptions. This 3-CD box set offers not only Trifonov's arrangement of the world-famous "Vocalise" for the first time on CD, but also all the concertos and transcriptions in a stunning Dolby Atmos audio-only format on Blu-Ray. With his albums "Destination Rachmaninov - Departure" and "Destination Rachmaninov - Arrival", Grammy Award winner Daniil Trifonov has released a highly acclaimed recording of all the piano concertos by the great Russian composer, which are now being released together for the first time in a box set.
