On this limited vinyl edition Lang Lang presents Saint-Saëns’ Carnival of the Animals, a whimsical menagerie that has captivated young hearts for generations. This version includes readings of the much-loved comic verses written to accompany each movement of the work by American poet Ogden Nash (1902-1971). First voiced by Noël Coward on a recording issued in 1950, Nash’s poems are here narrated by comedian and Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon.

With the recording of Carnival of the Animals Lang Lang continues his heartfelt wish to promote the love of classical music to kids and it also gives him a chance to collaborate with his wife, pianist Gina Alice. They are accompanied by renowned conductor Andris Nelsons and his Gewandhausorchester.
