VOCES8, the internationally acclaimed British vocal ensemble, presents a joyous musical Christmas spectacular full of sparkling, cinematic new arrangements of beloved carols by U.S. composer Taylor Scott Davis on its new album, A Choral Christmas. The album features several world premiere recordings of brand new works and arrangements, including the album's centerpiece, a major new work for chorus and orchestra, Taylor Scott Davis' stunning setting of the Magnificat. Also featured is the quiet and intimate new a cappella song "The Sleeping Child" by British composer Bob Chilcott, written especially for VOCES8. "A Choral Christmas" is VOCES8's most extensive recording to date - featuring the VOCES8 Foundation Choir and Orchestra for the first time, with instrumental soloists, and conducted by VOCES8 co-founder and countertenor Barnaby Smith.
