The Icelandic multi-instrumentalist and composer Ólafur Arnalds has already celebrated great success with his previous albums ‘For Now I Am Winter’, ‘The Chopin Project’ and ‘Island Songs’.

But with the soundtrack to the third and final season of the British crime series ‘Broadchurch’, Ólafur Arnalds proves once again that he can do much more. The hit drama starring David Tennant and Olivia Coleman became the most-watched series in the British Isles with around 10 million viewers.

The euphoria triggered by the series is also reflected in the 13 million streams of the soundtrack. Ólafur Arnalds' music breathes life into the series and can be seen as its artistic foundation. Arnalds has succeeded in composing a meaningful, moving and atmospheric soundtrack that is both mystical and melancholic.
