In 2023 Deutsche Grammophon celebrates a wonderful milestone: its 125th birthday. To mark the occasion the Yellow Label makes a selection of LPs available on vinyl for the first time ever. 12 LPs for 12 months of celebrations.

In 2020, Kian Soltani recorded Antonin Dvorak's Cello Concerto in B minor, Op. 104, which is one of the most famous of this genre in music history and arguably the composer's best-known work. Together with the world-class orchestra of the Staatskapelle Berlin and under the direction of Daniel Barenboim, who has sponsored and promoted Kian Soltani since his soloistic beginnings in the West Eastern Divan Orchestra, the exceptional cellist has taken on this outstanding work and now recorded it for Deutsche Grammophon. The album is completed with chamber music works by Antonin Dvorak, which are heard in a completely new guise: Kian Soltani himself has arranged some of the well-known pieces (including "Lasst mich allein" and "Als die alte Muter sprach") for cello and cello ensemble. Kian Soltani again captivates with his unique warm sound and precise dexterity that brings a sense of grandeur. Along with his virtuosity, Kian thus gives Dvorak's works a charisma of their own.
